The Apollo Beach Area Homeschoolers group was created in an effort to enhance the lives of our homeschooled children and provide support for their parents and caregivers.  Our mission is to assist in the homeschool experience by offering our children shared learning experiences and supporting parents by sharing ideas, friendship and advice.

Current activity ideas include field trips, sports day, park play-dates, book of the month club, nature walks, movies, Wii play, a cooking class for kids, picnics, swim-dates at the pool or beach and numerous other learning activities. 

 All homeschooling styles are welcome: from Charlotte Mason and Eclectic homeschooling to Child led learning, curriculum based all the way to unschooling.  Babies, toddlers, elementary to middle schoolers, their parents, grandparents, and caregivers are all invited to join us.

At the moment we have toddler to 5th grade, but we are an ever evolving group that will change to meet the needs of our children as they grow.  

We plan to keep this group relatively small in order to best fulfill the needs of the children and their families.
